The New Adventures of Yankee Doodle
Complete the Line Poems

Each of these Newfangled Yankee Doodle Poems is missing its last line. Can your students write one out? Make sure that the last word in the last line rhymes with the last word in the second line.

Once your student have become pros at Newfangled Yankee Doodle poems, let them try writing their own then entering our Yankee Doodle contest!

1. Yankee Doodle went to town

He went into a restaurant
